Angela Skandarajah is one of Australia’s leading real estate law experts. She has both public and private sector experience in all aspects of real estate related law, with particular expertise in major projects and developments.

As head of our national Real Estate, Environment and Planning team, her broad experience spans high-profile property and infrastructure projects, major acquisitions, disposals and leases, and Crown land developments. Her expertise includes the procurement of purpose-built facilities and deals with vendor development obligations.

Angela advises widely in major projects with highly complex development arrangements together with major public and private sector infrastructure such as hospitals and roads, and multi-faceted urban renewal projects.

In addition to her recognised skill in tenure, disposal and developments on Crown land, Angela also advises utility providers on secure land tenure arrangements, as well as the sale of public and private utilities.

Long-standing clients include Australand, Citta Property Group, Cromwell Property Group, Goodman Group, the Victorian Government and Places Victoria. Notably, Angela recently acted for the Victorian State Government on the proposed landmark $350 million redevelopment of McNab Avenue in the heart of Footscray, Melbourne’s capital of the west.

Throughout her 17 years in practice, Angela has been noted for excellence in her field with Chambers Global describing her as a leading individual in Real Estate, well known for her work on major property and government projects.

Angela is a regular speaker on real estate issues and matters.
