Frédéric’s main activity focuses on real estate acquisitions (real estate portfolio, joint-venture, real estate companies, offices buildings, retail centres and residential properties), property development and commercial leases negotiations. His expertise in family business and corporate law is also very appreciated by managers and shareholders of mid-cap companies who intend to transfer or sell their stakes. His main clients are French and foreign Institutional companies as well as industrial groups.

Before setting up Fairway, Frédéric’s duties were to manage the M&A Department in Landwell Law Firm between 1995 and 2004, allowing him to improve his expertise in complex real estate operations. Upon leaving Landwell, he founded Lefébure Fonteilles and Partners and practiced within this law firm until 2010. Before joining Landwell, Frédéric was an associate in Monsassier and Partners, a well-known French notarial law firm specialised in M&A and complex real properties activities.

With 10 partners and 17 associates dedicated to the real estate industry, Fairway is undoubtedly the Parisian business law firm with the highest number of lawyers dedicated to the real estate industry.

The firm’s strategy is to meet sophisticated clients’ demands for excellence, commercial knowledge of their industry and a valuable service through dedicated partners assisted by a limited number of closely supervised associates. Clients appreciate the entrepreneurial spirit of the team combined with its dedication to the delivery of customised, creative and high-quality services. Fairway provides a variety of services relating to complex real estate transactions, leasing and financing, as well as the structuring and formation of investment funds including regulated funds like OPPCIs.

The firm’s ability to provide sophisticated tax advice, in addition to substantive real estate advice, is a factor that distinguishes the firm from others in the French market.
